When you donate to Overflow, you are changing lives!
At Overflow Thrift Store, we do our best to make the donation process as simple as possible! You may bring items to donate at any time during our regular shopping hours. The donation area is conveniently located right next to the shopping area and has a separate entrance for easy access.
To help us do the best we can, here are a few guidelines on what we can and can't accept:
How do you donate?
We offer free pick up service for items that are too large and/or too heavy to fit in your car. Call 515-209-3057 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
Drop It Off
Merchandise donations are gratefully accepted at our store during open hours, Wednesday–Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm. The donation area is conveniently located right next to the shopping area and has a separate entrance for easy access.
All merchandise donations are tax-deductible. A receipt will be provided.
A donation or collection drive is a great way for your business or organization to participate in our mission. The goal of a drive is to obtain an outpouring of donations of gently-used clothing, shoes and books, plus other household goods.
Only 4 Easy Steps
- Give us a call. We will help you pick a date for your drive.
- Designate an area in your building to accept and store donations over the course of the drive.
- Promote your Collection Drive Event through flyers, social media, etc.
- An Overflow Thrift Store truck will pick up the donations you have collected at the end of your drive.
Overflow Thrift Stores will provide a sample flyer for you to use to help promote your event plus social media support. The possibilities are endless!
